2 gallons water
1/2 cup Old Bay seafood seasoning
8 onions quartered
8 small new
potatoes, whole
8 ears of corn, halved
2 lbs. smoked sausage,
cut into 2" pieces
3 lb. shrimp, unpeeled |
Place the water and seasoning into a large stockpot. Bring to a boil.
Add the vegetables to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.
Add sausage to the vegetables and cook another 15 minutes.
Add the shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink and done.
Have a table covered with a layer of newspaper;
then cover with a heavy brown paper
(the meat wrapping type).
Drain the water or if using a basket, lift out the basket and pour out the vegetables and meat onto the brown paper. Serve with melted butter and cocktail sauce. |
